Chocolate is my love for life and sometimes easy recipes are all you need because come on! We all are lazy sometimes right?
Chocolate fudge is like one of my most favourite things, they are so easy to make, so customizable and are a perfect treat, gift or if you jazz it up a bit, a complete dessert, don’t you agree? This recipe is just my version of the innumerable fudge recipes available on the internet. Feel free to adapt and change according to your needs. This fudge right here was customized by adding a layer of cookie underneath the fudge. I had leftover classic chocolate chip cookie dough in my fridge, so I baked a layer in the pan that I was going to set my fudge in. Let’s get chocolating!

Author: Anjali Johny
Ingredients
420 g Chocolate of Choice (I used 60% Dark)
400 ml sweetened condensed milk
a pinch of salt
Toppings or mix-ins of your choice ( I used almonds)
Directions
Add the chocolate (chopped), condensed milk and salt to a heavy bottom saucepan, and on medium heat, keep stirring continuously till the mixture is smooth. Now add your almonds and mix them in.
Pour this mixture into a parchment lined tin, I used an 8×9 rectangular tin. Keep it in the freezer until set. About 2 hours.
Cut and serve!
Make it, customize it, enjoy it!

This looks really good.
So, curious: is it stable at room temp (will it eventually melt into goo or keep its shape) and what is its shelf life?
Hey! Thank you so much. This fudge is stable at room temperature, considering you don’t leave it in direct sunlight, I have checked it at room temp and it has maintained its shape. If you keep the fudge in the refrigerator, it should last for at least a week.
